If there is a part of the wedding preparations that a groom is usually more than willing to take a part in, it would be choosing a wedding vehicle. Many couples express surprise at the wide range of choices they actually have. Even a limo or a luxury car can be “too boring” for some couples, so they choose vehicles that are uncommonly used for newlywed couples.

Limousines are very seldom, if ever, used in Cebu. Instead, the common wedding car is a formal or white car from a high-end manufacturer. Luxury cars are indeed comfortable and elegant ways to drive from the church to reach the reception venue. They can also be very spacious.

Two types of vehicles that are quickly becoming popular wedding car choices are vintage cars and sports cars. Vintage cars are classy and cute, and they look great in pictures. Sports cars are, well, sporty, and if you and your partner are athletic types or simply love the adrenaline and coolness associated with sports cars, then you can go for these. Note, though, that both vintage and sports cars usually have little interior space. So, if your wedding gown is fluffy or has a long trail, then be sure to find a vintage or sports car with as much space as possible.

When you rent a wedding car, be sure that you make the reservation months ahead, especially for vintage vehicles. Ask the rental company, too, if it has wedding car design services. If not, then you might want to ask your florist to adorn the front or the back of the car – you know that floral wreath with the “Just Married!” sign. You can also arrange for transportation services for your guests.
