A honeymoon is the perfect excuse to travel – to pamper yourself in a new place or to dare adventures you have never tried. In and out of the Philippines, there are various honeymoon destinations where you can get your fill of thrill and romance. Your choice of a place depends on your budget and your length of stay.

The beach is one of the most favourite locations for a honeymoon. In the Philippines, there is Palawan, El Nido and Batangas. Outside, one can choose Maldives, Bali, Phuket, Barbados, Seychelles, Bora-Bora, Hawaii and Brazil. Your preferences will greatly affect your decision. You might simply want a private place where no one knows you, where you can bask in the sun and relax at a spa. On the other hand, you might want to go scuba diving, parasailing, canoeing, water skiing and trying out other aqua sports. You might also want a lively beach party scene.

Aside from the sea, there are romantic places up in the hills, in metropolitan areas and outside city outskirts. In the Philippines, Tagaytay and Ilocos Norte are very popular choices. Outside the country, there is France, Italy, Spain and Greece. You might even prefer exotic locations like Morocco and Egypt. Another good choice would be an African safari, like in Kenya or Tanzania.

You and your partner might also want to spend your honeymoon hopping from one country to another. You can go backpacking across Asia, Europe, South America or Africa. You can also sail aboard a cruise ship. Different routes will take you through the Amazon, through the Mexican Riviera and through other locations.
