Getting That Bridal Body
Brides and members of the entourage, you know the feeling. You know the fear of one day stepping into that most beautiful gown only to realise that it simply will not fit you. Or, for those of you with less tragic nightmares, you know how it is to dread slipping on your gown and finding bulges and curves in all the wrong places. Yes, a wedding may be a magical day, but it can also induce stress for those who are concerned about watching their weight. So, here are a few suggestions to prevent such nightmares from coming true.
First of all, do not skip meals. No, that was not a typographical error. One sure way to faint in the middle of the church aisle is to lack nutrition. Constantly skipping meals can also intensify your craving, leading you to one day give in, indulge and go on an impulsive binge. Also, eating less than you need can trigger hyper-acidity and cause ulcers.
Instead, you should focus on healthy eating. Vegetables and fruits will not only help keep you lean; they will also give your skin a radiant, beautiful glow. Cut down, too, on drinks like soda, beer, alcoholic beverages, milkshakes, gourmet coffee and the like. Studies show that these drinks add countless calories to one’s daily intake. Limit your consumption of sweets, too.
Most of all have a regular exercise regimen. Even just frequent walking for 30 minutes or an hour will do wonders. Aside from trimming down fat and firming up curves, it will also help relieve the stress that you are bound to feel when planning the wedding details.
