I am from Australia, but my Mums family is from Cebu and I have always dreamt of getting married on the beach. Are there any problems with getting a priest to do a ceremony in a beach? I heard most would refuse because it is traditionally held in churches.

No, not really you can request the priest to have your Cebu beach wedding. They usually agree with the higher price for the ceremony but still affordable.

hi guys, about your question actually, i am a wedding planner for almost 5 years here in cebu. The archidiocese of cebu is now very strict about the wedding cermony outside the church that is part of our seminar at the cathedral every renewed our ID or license from them. Even if you pay the higher price that is not allowed.
